		471 Reads Many years ago while working as a contractor supporting a goverment computer center, I was handed the responsibility for setting up a MODCOMP mini-computer and helping the researchers use it. The only two programming tools on the system were the Assembler and FORTRAN 66. The main researcher was going to be doing all her work in FORTRAN 66, but needed to be able to send bits out of the system via an IEEE 488 interface to the other computers in the simulator.
